Photo of two VSAT modules (backside modules B1 and B2).

Dated November 1998.

Sorry for pure quality of the photo itself (especially horizontal alignment).
VSAT position is difficult to access (more tnan that - the place is open for service only during long LEP stops).
The camera was inserted inside box with beam-pipe and quadrupole cooling system to take this close picture.

The stainless steel tube with flange on the in center of the picture is LEP beam-pipe. One aluminum box on one side of this tube is VSAT 1'st module (B2), another one - 2'nd (B1) module. Of course VSAT detector parts is much smaller than these boxes which also holds preamplifiers, temperature probes, support and cooling systems.
